PSALM SUNDAY: PSALM 125

Happy First Sunday 🌞 🙌🏾!

We have been in the midst of some spiritual turbulence, and this should be no secret to many of you. There’s been a heaviness, a fog, and what feels like a regression surrounding us, and many are feeling a disconnection & dissociation from reality. Many feel they are exposed, unsafe, helpless,  and vulnerable as the events of the world continue to swirl all around us—but let me tell you that does not have to be the case my loves.

Here on Earth we are constantly being conditioned to keep us mentally, emotionally spiritually, and physically subjugated. We are energetically terrorized to trap us in low vibrational energetic states like fear, sadness, sickness, and panic …and to put it bluntly, we don’t have the luxury to keep freely surrendering our sovereignty to this BS. Our minds are destabilized and distracted, and the mind controls the body—God is calling you to rise up and fortify & protect yourself this month, and that brings me to our Psalm selection today…drum roll please…

Today’s Psalm for PSALM SUNDAY 🌞 is a Psalm of unshakeable protection & inner fortification, and it is PSALM 125. Before getting into magic of this Psalm I want to talk about the power of the First Sunday (primarily for any newcomers unfamiliar with this series 💚). 

The first Sunday of the month carries Divine significance. It is like the gatekeeper of the month, setting the tone spiritually for everything that follows. Just as the first fruits were sacred offerings, the first Sunday is a sacred spiritual offering of time, praise, and intention to God.

“So, why is this powerful, Tash?”

 It’s powerful because it is a day of alignment—a chance to consecrate your path, align with Divine order, and open heavenly gates for the coming weeks.

Spiritually, the first of anything carries rulership over what follows. Sunday is the first day of the week, and if honored spiritually, it sets divine order for the entire week ahead. By honoring this day, you activate Divine favor, clarity, and protection over your month.It’s like sowing a sacred seed that yields multiplied harvests. 

Sunday is ruled by the Sun—symbolizing light & God’s light, life, abundance, vision, kingship, and Divine power. It's the perfect day to anchor your spiritual authority and call in God's provisions for your life. I have previously channeled information regarding Sunday’s spiritual power, primarily that Sunday holds a pure etheric frequency. It's like a spiritual open house where blessings, downloads, and angelic visitations are easier to receive and anchor. Plainly put, Your prayers move much faster on Sundays, beloved. 🙏🏾

Now, let’s get into the power, magic, and blessings swirling within Psalm 125. 

I wanted to focus on Psalm 125 because of all  the strife, chaos, heaviness, and spiritual shifts taking place, which are causing so many people to suffer mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.  This Psalm helps strengthen mental, emotional, and spiritual stability, shields from harm, protects you in a multitude of ways, but especially in travel and while in foreign (or uncharted) territories/situations/energies. 

Probably, the most important blessing Psalm 125 can call in for you is the sealing and restoration of your destiny—it wraps you in God’s harmony & peace…it tucks you under God’s wing 🪽. 

I prefer using the NOG version when working the Psalms—it holds a higher spiritual frequency and enhances the power of the Psalm recitation (I’ll elaborate in another piece why I do not use the KJV when doing any biblical work or worship). I’ll be using the NOG version to really take you on a deeper dive into the power & energy of Psalm 125..Let’s go 😊:

PSALM 125 V 2 states: “As the mountains surround Jerusalem,  so Yahweh surrounds his people now and forever.”

This specific verse is a spiritual stabilizer. If you have been feeling mentally shaken, emotionally overwhelmed, or spiritually uprooted, this psalm grounds you like a mountain in divine stillness.

The entirety of Psalm 125 blesses you with a shield of God that protects you from harm & danger. This Psalm wraps you in a spiritual perimeter— it’s a lot like divine surveillance and bodyguard-level protection, especially when chaos tries to penetrate your peace or home.

The use of this Psalm acts like a divine injunction against spiritual manipulation, curses, evil eye, or backdoor attacks. It breaks hidden altars, hidden enemies, or unseen hands trying to manipulate your destiny or sabotage you in any way. 

Spiritually and physically, Psalm 125 also guards you while you're not “on your land.” This includes travel, foreign environments, new phases of life, “uncharted territories”, and spiritual initiations, activations, and upgrades.

Psalm 125 V 4 states: “Do good, O Yahweh, to those who are good, to those whose motives are decent.”

This verse is a call to get into spiritual alignment. It ensures that only those with clean hands and true hearts remain close to you, filtering out those who walk in iniquity.

Psalm 125 is also a sealing Psalm because it seals your destiny on the path of peace—not just peace, but wholeness, harmony, and restoration over your soul, body, family, and purpose in alignment with God’s Will for your life. It seals your Mind to ensure it is strong & clear, allowing you the ability to manifest with your internal God power and exercise more power over your reality. 

There are so many ways to work with the energy of this Psalm, but here are a few suggestions for harnessing the magic & blessings of Psalm 125 this month: 

• You can burn a blue candle and sit in its light while you recite Psalm 125 a total of seven (7) times. This will align the working with spiritual perfection, Divine order, and angelic reinforcement & support. 

• Using a piece of sturdy paper (brown bag paper, thick paper, parchment paper, etc..), write Psalm 125 on the paper and recite the psalm three (3) times while holding it in your hands. You will then anoint the corners with an oil of your choice (if you own my MAGNET 🧲 Oil, it would be ideal for this working, or you can use olive oil). Fold the paper towards you and you can keep it on you, in your wallet, in your home, on your altar etc. Repeat this once a week. 

• If you are truly wanting to pursue this working from a spiritual warfare perspective then I recommend you recite this Psalm twenty-one (21) times. This will bring total transformation and overwrite persistent spiritual interference you may be suffering from. 21 is 3x7 and often used in serious deliverance work or high ritual because it completely saturates the spiritual atmosphere with divine truth and cuts off lingering negative forces. You can also recite this over a bath containing hyssop, iodized salt, helichrysum, burdock root, hibiscus, and chamomile—bathe in this, reserve a cup of the bath water, air dry, and then dispose of this water by flushing it down the toilet (symbolizing the energy being released). 

I know it’s heavy, uncertain, and turbulent in the world right now, but God will begin flooding us with light because there is a spiritual transformation & shift taking place. We are in the midst of an unveiling of Divine truth and restoration is decreed. We all have a significance in this “reality”—we are all divine pieces of a heavenly puzzle that God & the Universe has entrusted us with reconstructing. We didn’t come this far to only come this far, and Psalm 125 is just what the Spiritual doctor ordered to stabilize us and shock us back into alignment.
